Custom Creatures [Server Mod]

This mod allows server owners to add in new creatures easily without any code by just creating a new file and defining some properties of the creature.

Note that with this mod you are not meant to create very complex creatures with novel functionality. You can only combine existing game features into new creatures. That being said, I think Tyrfang has done a great job of coming up with new creatures. Check out his mobs in the 'creatures zip' in the latest release.

You should start your journey by reading the .config file. You can then start creating custom creatures, or customizing the ones provided with the mod. You should read through every creature provided to decide whether you want them, because disabling a creature (by for example removing the appropriate file) that has already spawned in your world will leave behind garbage in your database and throw nasty, though ultimately harmless, errors on server startup.

Remember to back up and experiment on test servers.
