would love to see windows in game as well as awnings. just some suggestions

You mean like adding glass as a material and adding glass windows? I'd like to do that at some point, placing sand in a smelter would transform it to raw glass, and add a crafting skill for working with glass. Won't do in the near future though

Not only would this look nice it would go well with the survival mod. -- You have to be indoors with the windows closed to not freeze to death.
